Inspiration：

The serpent had an important place in many ancient civilisations. The ancient Egyptians believed that the serpent symbolised rebirth and immortality. They used the shape of serpent on their crowns, which gave people a sense of awe. In Greek mythology, the serpent represented healing, death and rebirth. By the Victorian era, the Queen regarded the snake as a talisman.

The serpent grows through many metamorphoses and renewals, with each molt representing the power of rebirth. This collection is also a rebirth for Doris studios, from abstract to figurative in design, from simple to elaborate in craftsmanship. The evolution of this creativity is also a reflection of the Doris Paris.
